Terms of Service
- Services provided Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm Central. Off-hour and weekend service based on availability, at 35% premium to regular service rates.
- Payment required in advance (including applicable travel charges for onsite service). Most major credit cards accepted.
- Non-transferable.
- Travel note: unforeseen/uncontrollable circumstances may cause travel delays (e.g., flight delay or cancelation). As a result, the originally planned implementation date may change. Optimac does not bear responsibility for financial losses that may result from these circumstances. Please provide an emergency phone number that we may call in the event of a travel delay, to discuss a contingency plan (e.g., proceed on a delayed schedule or reschedule the appointment).
- Missed appointments or cancellations within 12 hours of scheduled start time are subject to a cancellation fee of $120 per incident. Pre-purchased or already-consumed travel charges are non-refundable.
- Unused service time will expire at the end of the calendar year following year of purchase (e.g., unused service time purchased in January 2007 will expire on December 31, 2008).
Additional Plan-Specific Terms
Remote Support Subscription
- High-speed Internet connection required for screen-sharing and remote admin tasks.
- Initial on-site set up may be required at regular hourly service rates (usually conducted as part of implementation).
- Service time charged in 15-minute increments.
- Auto-billed monthly for 12-month period (will NOT auto-renew).
- Subscription may be upgraded at any time.
- Overtime is billed on a case-by-case basis (usually at the end of the month, although considerable overtime may be billed and payable as reasonably accrued).
- Monthly unused service time does not accumulate and is non-refundable. End-of-month last-minute booking of unused service time based on availability.
- Missed appointments or cancellations within 4 hours of scheduled start time are subject to a cancellation charge equivalent to 1-hour of overtime service per incident.
Annual Support Retainer
- High-speed Internet connection required for remote support via screen-sharing and remote admin tasks.
- Paid annual retainer required before service is rendered.
- Remote service charged in 15-minute increments.
- On-site service charged in hourly increments, minimum 2 hours service per call; travel charges may also apply.
- Overtime charged at regular hourly rate.
- Missed appointments or cancellations within 12 hours of scheduled start time are subject to a cancellation charge of $120 per incident.
